![]() ![]() Staff that did the original development inevitably moved on to other employers and skills were lost, leading to new releases having more bugs than the older versions, and thus to user unhappiness. Many products canned by Symantec were originally produced by companies they acquired, and the Symantec policy seems to have been to extract as much revenue as possible out of each product line and then can it. The cost of developing and maintaining the products is weighed against the annual revenues from that product and if the revenues are less than the development/maintenance costs then the product gets canned. Symantec have end of lifed many good products, and I am sure it was nothing more than a financial decision. Can I boot them in a Virtual Machine in Win 10? (Sounds cumbersome.) ![]()
